Emergency Exit signDisasters and Major Incidents, by definition, affect many people in the immediate area, the surrounding areas and far from the scene. They can cause death, injury and displacement of large numbers of individuals and families, often with little or no warning. While the Emergency Services and the Council can ease the situation for those affected, there is only so much we can do. By preparing for the worst, you can help your family and friends become more resilient, helping you to survive and make the best of any situation.
