Key Services Under The Spotlight In County Council Report
Access to key services such as schools, shops, GP surgeries and hospitals are under the spotlight in a new County Council report.
A summary report has been published on a major consultation which took place this summer with Cheshire residents and it was included on the Environment Executive agenda today (Thursday).
It centres on three priority areas:
Access to key services from rural areas, particularly for older people;
Access to health services, including Primary Care Trust modernisation plans; and
Access to employment, particularly from areas of deprivation.
The report is split into the two boundaries of the two shadow councils Chester West and Chester and Cheshire East. [Read full story...] |
