We are currently looking at education provision in the Macclesfield area under the countywide Transforming Learning Communities programme.
A number of suggestions have been put forward and some of these are worrying parents with children at or about to enter primary education.

| Work to Start on New Traffic Signal Controlled Junction Serving Macclesfield Learning Zone Work begins on March 31st on the new traffic signal controlled junction on Park Lane to serve the Macclesfield Learning Zone.
Managed by the County Council, the scheme will improve the entry and exit of Macclesfield College as well as providing safe crossing facilities in and out of the Learning Zone.
