About Me

I am a local farmer producing rare breed beef for sale direct to consumers.

I have always lived in Mickle Trafford, where I have been a Parish Councillor since 1976. I am also pleased to be a Member of the Assessment Panel for Cheshire Quality Parish Council applications.

I am the Chairman of Governors at Upton-by-Chester High School and a Governor at St Oswald’s, Mollington.

I was elected to serve as a County Councillor in 1997 and currently hold the following positions:

County Council To Lease Two Areas Of Land For Community Use In Congleton And Chester Cheshire County Council has agreed to lease two areas of land to third parties to enable the provision for a new headquarters for the Scouts and Guides Association in Congleton and a new adventure playground in the Lache area of Chester. Transforming Learning Communities Delamere Church of England Primary School will be reviewed in 18 months and statutory public consultations are to take place about the proposal to close Handley Hill Primary School in Winsford in summer 2009. The decisions, part of the Transforming Learning Communities review (TLC), were taken today (Thursday) by the Lead Member for Children’s Services County Councillor David Rowlands.
