Businesses seeking to invest, expand or relocate in Cheshire have the ideal locations at their fingertips - thanks to groundwork mapped out by by Cheshire County Council working in partnership with CB Richard Ellis Ltd.
Findings from the fifth annual Cheshire Commercial Property Market Assessment - which identified property potential during 2006 - show that on current performance levels, the future is bright.
Cheshire’s economy is performing well with levels in some categories topping UK and regional averages, and unemployment lower. Last year was one of the best ever for commercial development in the county.
Commercial property development highlights include The Royal George development in Knutsford, Macclesfield town centre development, the Modus scheme in Crewe and Chester’s ambitious Northgate scheme.
Smaller towns within the county are enjoying business interest too – industrial lettings are taking off in locations such as Malpas and development is taking shape in town centres such as Congleton.
Looking ahead the exciting Crewe Gateway, Weaver Valley and Chester Cultural Quarter and Deeside Hub all made progress – promising a continuation of Cheshire’s property success.
