Cheshire is one of the largest local education authorities and has a population over 679,000. We maintain 341 schools in Cheshire, including Nursery schools, Primary schools, Secondary schools, Special schools and a Pupil Referral Unit.

When the time approaches for your child to start or change school you may need to know information about the school catchment areas and we also provide facilities for you to apply for your child's school place online and pay for school transport online.
