Cheshire Brussels Office
The Council established an office in Brussels in 2001 to act as a focal point between Cheshire and EU institutions.
Role of the Brussels Office:
- identify and promote priorities of Cheshire in Brussels arena
- strengthen networks with key EU players and support links with other EU regions
- provide forward intelligence and information on Key European policy issues
- represent Cheshire's views and facilitate lobbying of EU policymakers

North-West of England House
Our Brussels office is located in North West House, sharing premises with other local authorities in the North West.
We have a dedicated officer based in our Brussels Office who reports directly to the External Funding and European Unit's Manager. This post is currently supported by a European Liaison Assistant.
