Sub-heading

Schools subscribing to the service have a deposit loan collection comprising of fiction and non-fiction titles.

All deposit collections should be refreshed on a regular basis with new and different titles to maintain an up-to-date, attractive selection. Old and damaged stock should be returned so that you can replace it with new relevant titles. All exchanges are done on a one-for-one basis.

Primary Schools

  • Up to 200 books can be exchanged twice a year from the mobile library. There are over 3,000 fiction and general interest non-fiction books to choose from on the vehicle. To ensure the service remains viable and cost effective schools are asked to exchange a minimum of 100 books on each visit.

Special Schools

  • The mobile library can visit twice a year or you can choose to have a boxed collection delivered each term – please let us know which you prefer.

Secondary Schools

  • School library managers can exchange items on a regular basis, using items from the school’s allocation. They can visit the site or request a selection to be chosen by professional staff.
