How to Apply for ACL Funding to Deliver Learning
We are keen to encourage the involvement of a wide range of organisations who can deliver all kinds of learning opportunities for adults. It could be anything from Art to Yoga but we are particularly interested in learning that targets learners from people currently under-represented in learning.
Organisations should be able to demonstrate that they have identified a learning need within their community and are able to deliver high quality learning to adults who reside in the county regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or physical or sensory ability.
We understand that many smaller community or voluntary groups may be in the early stages of developing their Quality Assurance systems therefore we will support them in building this capacity.
If you as a community, voluntary or any non profit making group feel you have identified a learning need and are willing to work with us to ensure the delivery of high quality learning, you need to complete the following steps to apply for ACL funding:

Download and complete our Adult and Community Learning Expression of Interest
Send your fully completed Expression of Interest giving as much detail as possible to:

Step 3
Your Expression of Interest will be appraised at a Funding Panel and you will be notified of the outcome within 4 weeks of receipt.
Step 4
If there is agreement to fund your project, one of our Development Officers will be allocated to your organisation to support your organisation and a contract drawn up.
Your Development Officer will provide you with:
- Day to day support as required by telephone and/or email
- Termly visits
