The Traveller Education & Minorities Support Service
(TEMS) is part of the Inclusion & School Improvement Service (ISIS) within Cheshire Children’s Services
The Traveller Education Service is a consortium established by the Education Services of Cheshire, Halton and Warrington Councils. The Service co-ordinates, monitors, advises and assists with educational provision for the Traveller communities throughout the three Local Authorities
EAL, New Arrivals, Asylum Seekers & Refugees assists with educational provision for children whose first language is not English – English as an Additional Language (EAL).
The Elective Home Education Service aims to work with parents and respect their right to educate their child at home, whilst ensuring that children receive a suitable education.
The Pupil Mobility Service aims to advise and support schools deemed to have high turnover with regards to pupils that are short term attendees.
