University of Chester
The University of Chester has developed over 2 sites: the Chester campus is located close to the heart of the city, proximal to the attractions and facilities that it offers.
The smaller Warrington campus, host to the North West Media Centre, also provides high quality teaching, leisure and residential facilities.
The available Schools of Study at the University are: Applied and Health Sciences; Arts and Media; Business, Management and Law; Education; Health and Social Care; Humanities; and Social Sciences.
The variety of degree subjects taught are in two streams: those based on single traditional disciplines, for example History, Art, Media and Geography, which allow students to concentrate on one subject.

The Faculty operates on two campuses located over 92 acres in total, with the two sites being six miles apart. Both Crewe and Alsager are self-contained with extensive residential accommodation. Free regular transport between the campuses enables students not only to meet their academic commitments but also to pursue their social and leisure activities. The Faculty has an excellent reputation in teacher education, exercise and sport science and contemporary arts. The Faculty also has substantial strengths in leisure and environmental studies, the humanities and social sciences and also supports local businesses and commerce through its broad range of research, consultancy and course activities.
The MMU Cheshire Faculty offers a wide range of diploma, degree and postgraduate opportunities on a full and part-time basis. There are currently approximately 3,500 full-time students on campus, including nearly 1,000 on postgraduate programmes. A further 1,500 students are taking part-time courses.
