Tree Preservation Orders
Trees and woodland can be protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s) which aim to prevent unnecessary pruning or felling without consent. The County Council does not create TPO’s, which are dealt with by the district councils. If you have any queries regarding TPO’s therefore, you should contact your district council or visit their websites where further information may be available.
