You may borrow 20 items at any one time, which may be up to 20 books. The maximum number of multimedia items is 8, except CD-ROMs, computer software and games and DVD box sets where the maximum is 2 items.

In addition, an administration charge of 30p (which includes postage) is payable when an overdue reminder is sent. |
Items on loan can be renewed if not reserved by another borrower. Items can be renewed online or by 'phone, e-mail, letter, fax, or visiting a library. You can also renew your library loans using the 24 hour telephone renewal line on 0845 148 0148.
Reservations
If the item can be obtained from within the county then the charge is 80p (45p CLCH*)
If the item reserved has to be obtained from a UK library outside Cheshire, the charge is £1.70 (85p CLCH*)
If the item reserved has to be obtained from a library outside the UK, the charge is £15.
Children may reserve items free of charge.
Persons who have difficulty reading print or handling books can reserve talking books and Language Courses free.
