Don’t just sit there - get reading!This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is called Team Read, with a whole range of activities and incentives to spur you on to the finishing line.
How? When?
Get your Team Read membership card from any Cheshire library, together with a special fold out poster! Read any six books over the summer holidays and collect bronze, silver and gold stickers along the way. You can chart how well you are doing by placing the stickers on the fold out poster. When you complete the challenge you will receive a medal and certificate at a special award ceremony.

Choose your own books to read from the fantastic selection available in all our libraries. It’s free to join and runs from Saturday 12th July until Saturday 6th September. Children of any age are welcome to join the challenge, although it is most suitable for those of primary school age. For under 5s we've got the Bookcrawl challenge! Ask any member of staff for details.

Lots going on!
Many libraries are holding special free events to tie in with Team Read, such as a Family Quiz, where the whole family can come along and work as a team to win prizes. Look out for storytimes, craft sessions and all sorts of other exciting things happening in a Library near you.
