Broxton Road Surfacing And Lining Scheme This Weekend
A road resurfacing and lining scheme is to take place on the A534 Barnhill Road at Broxton near Chester this weekend (October 14 and 15).
On Saturday the urgent work will take place at Broxton roundabout and for more than a hundred yards on the Wrexham bound downhill approach to the roundabout.
Four- way traffic lights will be in operation and the speed limit at this point will be reduced to 10 miles an hour.
It is hoped that the traffic lights will be removed by early afternoon.
On Sunday cats eyes are to be installed and remedial work to the white lining on two sections of the A534 is the take place.
The first will be between the Durham Heifer and Coppermine public houses as well as a length of nearly 700 yards towards Nantwich from the Broxton roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation. Significant delays when working near Broxton Roundabout will be experienced. Cheshire County Council apologises for the delays.
