Children to Help Create Logo for Rural West Children's Centre in Tarvin

A plea has been made for children to help create the logo for the Rural West Children’s Centre in Tarvin as well as artwork to decorate the walls.

The centre will be a one stop service providing a wide range of resources for children and their families.  It will bring together early education, childcare, health and family support services into the heart of the rural community.

Acting Centre Manager Helen Brackenbury said: “Our aim is to provide easily accessible support to enable children in the Cheshire West area to grow up in a safe and healthy environment and give them the very best start in life we can.

“Although our SureStart services will be based at the Community Centre in Tarvin, we aim to provide an accessible service to villages across the local area including Tarporley, Farndon, Tattenhall and Malpas.”

The Tarvin Community Centre Management Committee also wants to recruit support from local residents to members of the Committee.

Chairman Stuart McNeil said: “The development of the Children’s Centre has greatly enhanced the facilities for children and families in the area.

“We would like to hear from any parents willing to support us in ensuring we can maximise these benefits for years to come.”
