Welcome to the website of the Cheshire Pension Fund, the name of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in Cheshire.
The website has been designed to provide quick and easy information for the full cross-section of our membership whether you are a new employee joining the Scheme or one of our retired employees or their dependant and participating employers.
The website is one of the ways in which we will keep you up to date with the latest pension news and updates on the Scheme, as well as information about the Fund's investments and performance. To assist you further we have also included links to other useful related websites for example the Department of Work and Pensions.
May we draw your attention to the New Scheme section, which includes information on the format of the Local Government Pension Section from 1st April 2008. Over the coming months this section will be updated and added to, once some of the aspects of the New Scheme are finalised.
