Planning Applications

The County Council deals with applications for County Matters and County Development only. County Matters include applications for mineral extraction and waste management. County Development includes applications at school, libraries, care homes, and locations for other services operated by the County Council.

This section contains details of planning applications submitted to the County Council Planning Control Team to be determined.  Advice on submitting a planning application can be obtained directly from a planning officer. Written guidance for application forms is provided on this website. Electronic submission of comments can be made by members of the public.

If you are intending to submit an application or object to a Planning Application for any other type of development, including applications at domestic addresses (this includes operating a business from your home) or applications for business addresses then you will need to submit them to the relevant district council and to obtain application forms from them. The documents available here can not be used when submitting applications to the district planning authorities.
