Scheme of Delegation for Development Control
Cheshire County Council has recently revised its current scheme under which certain planning applications can be determined without the need to go to the Development Regulatory Committee (DRC). The scheme of delegation arrangements for the determination of planning applications have been extended to improve the efficiency and performance of the Environmental Planning Service and to speed up the determination of planning decisions on minor applications. The aim of the guide on the Scheme of Delegation is to give customers of the Environmental Planning Service a clearer understanding of changes to this process, and to outline the newly adopted delegated powers.
