HAVE YOUR SAY
The Communities of Cheshire Survey 2008
What is the Communities of Cheshire Survey 2008?
In September, thousands of Cheshire households will receive a questionnaire asking for their views on what it's like to live in the local area and to comment on a range of issues including community safety and local decision-making.
The Communities of Cheshire Survey is being carried out by Cheshire County Council on behalf of Communities of Cheshire Partnership. The partnership is made up of a number of public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations who are working closely together to improve the quality of life of the people of Cheshire.
All local authorities are required, every two years, as part of Central Government requirements, to find out what people think about the place where they live and how well local public services are performing.

How will the results be used?
We want to capture your views, experiences and perceptions, in order to help our understanding of how to improve Cheshire. The responses will help the two new Unitary Councils and Communities of Cheshire Partnership to identify priority areas for action for Cheshire.
How will I be kept informed?
Results from the completed questionnaires will be available in Spring 2009.
Residents will be kept informed about the Place Survey via the website and press releases. A summary of the key findings from the Place Survey will appear on Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East Websites by April 2009.
