Changing History
Changing History was an exhibition which looked at how the local area has changed. Three groups were involved in putting the exhibition together. The exhibition was at the Salt Museum during the summer of 2004.
Pupils from Victoria Road Primary School chose objects for the display about Roman Northwich. They worked with staff from the museum and Cheshire’s Poet Laureate, John Lindley, to explore Northwich nearly 2,000 years ago. |

Members of the public were invited to take part in selecting paintings and photographs which show how the area has changed in their lifetimes. They too worked with John Lindley to interpret the exhibits.
A group of ladies who meet at Hartford Parish Church have shared their memories and created a story chair with artist Simone Cobbold.
