All Cheshire's tithe maps and apportionments are now available online.

The data from the tithe apportionments was entered by an army of 80 volunteers, mostly Cheshire-based, but working as far afield as Melbourne and Seattle.  Without the volunteers we would have been unable to complete this project and the Archives and Local Studies Service owes a great debt of gratitude to them all.

Still to come:

Later this year historic Ordnance Survey mapping for the rest of the pre-1974 county (the Wirral, Runcorn, Stockport, Altrincham and Stalybridge areas) will be loaded.
