County Forums
County Forums were introduced in 2003, replacing the previous Area Committee system. However, County Forums ceased to exist in June 2006 following a review of their operation. Locality Boards were subsequently introduced in July 2006 to facilitate improved communication between County Councillors and officers on local service and Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) issues and the County Council's responsiveness to identified needs and priorities.
