Whenever you contact the Council, you are entitled to a high standard of treatment:
Individual attention — you can expect
- your views to be listened to and taken into account
- to be told the reasons for decisions which affect you
- any problems or complaints to be dealt with in a simple, honest and straightforward manner
Clear information — we will
- provide details of our services available and how to make contact
- provide explanations in plain language
- whenever possible provide a named contact
Prompt service — we will
- give an immediate response whenever we can
- respond to your enquiries within five working days of receipt
- tell you how your enquiry will be handled, and how long it will take if the answer is not possible within five working days
- In addition to the Cheshire Standard, there are a number of standards that are specific to the Registration Service. These are set out under Registration Service Standards.
