With partners in:
Cheshire County Council’s Cultural Services Unit commissioned a report on Creative Industries in Cheshire in 2000.
This led to the formation of the Cheshire & Warrington Creative Industries Network (CAWCIN). The network currently includes representatives from:
- The County Council
- All of the Cheshire districts
- Warrington Borough Council
- Cheshire & Warrington Learning and Skills Council, Business Link and Economic Alliance
- Higher and Further Education Colleges
- Arts Council England: North West
- Northwest Development Agency
CAWCIN commissioned a second study in 2002. This led to the development of CAWCIN as a company limited by a guarantee. CAWCIN is currently working closely with CRISP, NWDA and other key partners to develop an action plan for future delivery of Creative Industries support.
