Like all local authorities we must publish the results of national performance indicators each autumn. Presented here is a statistical guide to a range of our activities for the year to 31 March 2001. We believe the findings show once again that effectiveness and openness are two of our key hallmark qualities. Independent auditors have checked the accuracy.
More detailed information on how the County Council is doing will be published in our Best Value Performance Plan next March. This is to include comparisons of our results with what we set out to do, what we did in previous years and how other County Councils have done.
