Then they can join in with the Bookstart Book Crawl at their local library

What is the Book Crawl?

• The Book Crawl encourages children under 5 to join the library and to borrow books by rewarding them with stickers and certificates.
• Your child is given their own Book Crawl collector's card and then each time they visit the library they receive a sticker.

• When they have filled their card with 4 stickers, they get a beautifully designed certificate. There are up to ten different certificates to collect, with colourful drawings by top children's illustrators.

Libraries are committed to promoting the idea of early book sharing and seek to give every child the opportunity to develop a life long love of books. It is quick and easy to join and it’s free.
