Good consultation lies at the heart of what the Council does in being able to deliver the high quality services that people want and expect. Effective community consultation enables the Council to better understand its clients and customers, encourages the more efficient use of public resources and enables evidence-based decision making.
Periodically, the views of the Cheshire public and other stakeholders are sought on financial and policy matters. Current consultations are detailed below.

Summary Statement of Accounts 2007-2008 Send us your feedback and enter our prize draw to win a £50 Marks & Spencer voucher!
This is the fourth year that the accounts have been presented in a summarised form. We have taken on board some of the good suggestions which readers have made in previous years and we'd like to hear from our readers again this year so that we can continue to make improvements. Some questions are included with the Summary of Accounts Leaflet and we're interested in what you do like about the leaflet as well as what you don't like!
Comments can be e-mailed to the County Council or posted to:
Cheshire County Council County Finance Office (Ref: Technical Accounting) Room 268 County Hall CHESTER CH1 1SG
All eligible feedback responses received by 31 January 2009 will be entered into a prize draw to win £50 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers. You must be aged 16 or over and include your name and contact details in order to be entered in the prize draw. (This information will only be used to help us understand who our readers are and to enable us to send the prize to the winner.)
