Cheshire Sure Start has funding available to support pre-schools who may be thinking about extending their hours of opening.

The working or training patterns of parents often require them to look for provision that offers care in addition to their funded education place. Extending your hours will also enable your pre-school to deliver nursery education in line with future parental entitlement as outlined in the Ten year Strategy for Childcare.

Pre-schools are often well placed to respond and the Sure Start Team is here to help with advice and funding to assist with refurbishment, equipment purchase and other associated transitional costs.
