The Government’s Ten Year Strategy for Childcare outlines their plan to see schools open their doors beyond the normal school day to provide childcare services that support the local community. Governing Bodies now have new powers to offer these services themselves or through a third party.
Schools regularly approach the Sure Start Team asking for advice on which childcare providers would be interested in delivering a service for their school. In order to link up schools with these childcare providers, we are compiling a list of those interested in setting up out of school clubs, pre-schools or full day care on school sites across Cheshire.
