The purpose of the document 'Re-thinking the Relationship Between School, Family and Community' is to:
1.) outline the new Government requirements, that fall on local authorities and partner agencies, in relation to the development of integrated models of service delivery for children and young people.
2.) give an overview of Cheshire’s response to this agenda to date.
3.) provide an opportunity for stakeholders to comment on Cheshire’s response and broad direction of travel.
These issues are explored with reference to the following three models of integrated services for children and young people:
1.) Children’s Centres
2.) Extended Schools
3.) Re-shaped pre-school provision
In the future there will be a range of consultation events and other opportunities for stakeholders to continue to share views and ideas.
