Family Support
We are Pam, Connie and Michelle and we are based here at Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre. We run community groups, parenting courses and organise day trips and activities for the family during the school holidays. We also work with families within their homes offering support with a variety of everyday family issues such as:
- Play ideas
- Encouraging language
- Parenting support such as managing tantrums
- Providing support and advice with children’s daily routines
- Sign posting to other services
- Help and advice with home safety issues
DAFSU (Domestic Abuse)
Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre can provide a referral service for victims of domestic abuse through staff based within the centre. Stanlaw links in fully with the Domestic Abuse Family Safety Unit.
