About us
Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre was officially opened by Naomi Eisenstadt, (Then director of the Sure Start Unit) in May 2005. We are a phase one centre providing the full core offer.
The Centre hosts 7 Health Clinics & holds a number of groups including Messy Rascals, Peepo Explorers, Baby Peepo Sing & Sign, Family Stay & Play, Rainbows (Support for Children with additional needs),Mini Movers, Baby Rhyme Time, Childminder Drop - In, Five 4 Life, West Cheshire College, Jobcentreplus and the Credit Union provide information and advice sessions.
We have a full programme of Family Learning activities and approximately 1000 people access the Centre each month. We also offer parenting support & parenting support programmes and outreach work.
We have daycare provision for 68 Children . We have opened our new Community Café “Chill & Chat” Café and we have developed a community allotment on site managed by the constituted group “Friends of Stanlaw Abbey”.
