Introduction to The Complaints Procedure

Main heading

Sub-heading

What to do first :: How to make a formal complaint :: If you're still not satisfied :: How your County Councillor can help :: Who to contact for more information and help :: How to give Feedback

Every day most people throughout Cheshire benefit from our wide range of services.

The Councillors and staff who plan, organise and provide these aim to give you the very best standards.  However, from time to time, things may go wrong.

If you think we have not lived up to your expectations, we want to know.

Making a complaint…

We cannot please everyone all the time. It might be, for example, that we cannot do what you want for legal, or other, reasons.

What we can promise is to listen and do everything possible to deal with your problem. We will also explain the reasons for our actions.

What to do first…

If you are not satisfied with the way we have treated you, explain the problem to the member of staff with whom you are dealing. If you are still not happy, ask to see that person's manager.

We can sort out most difficulties quickly in this way.
