This section provides information on the Council Procurement strategy and guidance on the application of the procurement rules.
Corporate Procurement strategy
The strategy outlines the procurement priorities and targets for 2006 - 2010 and show how procurement will contribute to achieving the aims set out in the Corporate Plan.
The strategy brings together the recommendations of the National Procurement Strategy for Local Government and Annexes and the Independent Review of Public Sector Efficiency, (known as the “Gershon” Report) and places them in the context of local priorities .It focuses on the main aims and provides targets that contributes to the Corporate Plan strategic outcome of “ Transforming Cheshire “ .
