Smaller Parks and Picnic Areas - Shakerley Mere

Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the lake, or stop and watch the birds. There are plenty of tables and seats along the way, so you can stop and picnic beneath the birch and oak.

The Mere is stocked with carp, bream, roach and perch and is suitable for disabled anglers. The water is leased by Lymm Angling Club. Day permits are available on the bank.
