Enjoy the Vale Royal Round as a challenging walk over one or two days or take it at your leisure. There are good public transport links to Northwich, Delamere Forest Park and Winsford.
Explore the heart of Cheshire - a varied landscape rich in heritage. Enjoy breath taking views from the Sandstone Trail, waterside walks through town and country and shady wooded paths on this 55km (35 mile) circular walk.

Deep beneath the Cheshire countryside lie the largest deposits of salt in Britain. Salt production has been a vital strand in the history and economy of the area since the Romans first made salt from brine and is still a vital material for many industries.
