Tegg's Nose Audio Walk 3

Main heading

Sub-heading

Download mp3 of A Guided walk with a Park Ranger Track 3'

The text below is a transcript of Track 3 of the walk.

Now follow the path on here the main path goes round to the right  but we take this small path straight on. All of a sudden you will get a wonderful vista in front of you.
Now man has lived in this area since the bronze age and who can blame him, the scenery is fantastic but not only that in the Bronze age the plains were very marshy and the top  hills were very cold. We know that Bronze age man was in this area from the rich heritage of Barrows that he left behind him, the hills are littered with these mounded burial chambers. When we get to the viewpoint down this hill we will see one of the finest.

Be careful not to miss the viewpoint you have to turn left and look for the sign.
