The Forum was reconstituted on 8th September 2006. There are currently 15 members serving on the Forum and bringing to it a wide range of skills and experience:
Peter Chapman Peter is a retired teacher and is a rights of way inspector for the Peak and Northern Footpaths Society in Cheshire. He has a particular interest in access and rights of way. He has also had a lifelong interest in fell walking and mountaineering and is still very active in this respect. Peter has wide experience, not only as a Head of Department, but also with a variety of voluntary groups.

Neil Collie Neil is a chartered civil engineer and is a keen fell walker and occasional cyclist. Between 2002 and 2005 Neil was employed by Groundwork Macclesfield & Vale Royal to develop the greenway network in Vale Royal for use by walkers, cyclists and horse riders. He has been a member of the Ramblers' Association for over 30 years and is the Footpath Secretary for the East Cheshire Group.

Evelyn Cragg-Hine Evelyn is a retired teacher and a keen walker and cyclist. She was a Forest Visitor Assistant in Delamere Forest, later becoming a part-time member of the education team with whom she now does voluntary work. She was also chairman of the Public Affairs sub-committee of Cheshire Federation of Women’s Institutes. As a member of her village W.I. she is currently Walks Co-ordinator. Ken Edwards Ken Edwards retired from teaching in 2000 after a career working in England and Africa. He has enjoyed a love of the countryside since his childhood in the West Country and has walked the Pennine Way with both his children and would like to do it again with his grandchildren. He is a member of the Cheshire County Council Rights of Way Committee and a Spokesperson on the environment. He is very keen to help the CWLAF play a full part in ensuring access to the countryside for all those who wish to enjoy its benefits.

Eleanor Johnson Eleanor is a farmer and a member of the CLA's Cheshire Committee. She is a Chester City Councillor and a member of the local LJC, as well as a Barrow Parish Councillor. She has particular knowledge of access problems for the disabled in the countryside.

Dale Langham Dale independently champions cycling and urban walking as modes of sustainable transport, working closely with the North West Office of Sustains on local & cross-county cycle routes in East Cheshire and with schools and businesses to develop sustainable travel plans. He is the Cheshire contact for Living Streets, previously the Pedestrian Association. Dale is a member of the Cycling Touring Club (CTC) and gets involved with highway and off-road engineering issues. He is a keen cyclist, enjoying higher terrain routes across European in particular the Spanish Picos de Europa and Sierra Nevada.

John Lilley
John is a retired postgraduate dean whose career as a clinical teacher also involved him in the drafting of international standards as well as forensic archaeology. He is the Countryside Officer for the North and Mid Cheshire Area of the Ramblers' Association. John Mitchell
John is a retired farmer, a former Chairman of Cheshire NFU and an NFU representative at national and EU level. He is currently an NFU representative on various bodies dealing with environmental matters. John is a member of the Cheshire Rights of Way Forum and has a keen interest in walking and nature conservation.

Keith Pennyfather Following early retirement from a professional career in countryside access, landscape and recreation management with the Countryside Commision, Keith turned to voluntary work for the Ramblers' Association and is currently Area Access Officer. A keen supporter and promoter of sustainable transport, he works closely with the rail industry and represents the interests of rail and bus passengers on various forums, including the Macclesfield Public Transport Liaison Committee and TravelWatch North West.

David Robinson A former teacher and county councillor David has had a lifetime interest in walking and cycling. He is now development control officer for Chester Cycling Campaign ensuring that the needs of cyclists are fully recognised in planning consents. He also chairs a landfill tax distribution body (WREN) which has provided resources for rights of way development. His wealth of experience in district, county and regional government combine well with a record of long distance walking and cycling.

Barbara Smith Barbara is currently an arable farmer and was formerly a dairy farmer. She was County Chairman of the NFU in 1993-4 and is a member of the European Union on Women and the North West CBI. Barbara is a free-lance journalist on general rural issues. She is keen to stimulate farmer enthusiasm for public recreation, access and conservation for the enjoyment of all.

John Taylor John is a former estate and farm manager. He has been a wheelchair user since 1985 and is closely involved in access issues. He is Vice-Chair of both the Disability Resources Exchange and the Crewe Council for Voluntary Services. He is also a member of Crewe and Nantwich Sustainability Alliance, Mersey Basin Initiative, Cheshire Wildlife Trust and the RSPB. John was recently successful with the Joint Highways Office on an "Equal Access For All" bid for regional development funding.

John White John is a management consultant with a long association with ICI. He is the chairman of the Mid Cheshire Footpath Society and a footpath secretary for the Ramblers Association. He is a keen walker and an occasional cyclist. John has worked with young adults in his role as a school governor and formerly as the managing director of a training company.
John is chair of the LAF.
