Newsletters and Regular Reports
CDAP produces quarterly newsletters with details of the latest initiatives in domestic violence partnership working in Cheshire and also reports to the six Cheshire districts in a number of areas of domestic violence, including incident reporting, repeat victimization, and referrals to the domestic violence family safety units

- A Vision for Services for Children and Young People affected by Domestic Violence joins up the visions of Every Child Matters and Safety and Justice by providing a framework for improving the five ECM outcomes for children who live with domestic violence. The guidance is produced by the LGA, ADSS, Women’s Aid and CAFCASS, with input also from Refuge, DfES, Department of Health and the Home Office. The commissioning guidance is modelled on an adaptation of the Triangle of Need and Intervention used within the Department of Health's assessment framework.
- CDAP data project officers have produced a report on Children's Fund/CDAP interventions for children exposed to Domestic Abuse in Cheshire. Making a Difference - Making Every Child Matters 'Matter' for Children Exposed to Domestic Abuse in Cheshire reports on the extent to which the CDAP/CF/ECM outcomes have been achieved.
- Risks For Children Remain High Highlights and recommendations from the Women's National Commission response to the government's Domestic Violence Crime and Victims Bill. WNC is an independent government advisory body on women's issues.
- Making a Difference - Making Every Child Matters 'Matter' for Children Exposed to Domestic Abuse in Cheshire - a report on the extent to which the CDAP/CF/ECM outcomes have been achieved in Cheshire in children's work in Refuges, Cheshire Domestic Violence Outreach Service and the NSPCC.
- The CDAP Children's Services Leaflet lists the work taking place in Cheshire to provide services for children exposed to domestic abuse, with contact details for key agencies in the county.
- CDAP's report for Sure Start - Children's Centres and Domestic Abuse: Integrating Early and Preventative Responses - outlines why and how the issue of domestic abuse should be integrated into the developing work of Children's Centres in Cheshire.
- The Children in Need Census (CINC) 2005: Social Factors Survey examines the incidence of domestic abuse in cases open to Children's Services (Feb 7 -13, 2005), while the CINC Comparison report examines trends from the surveys carried out in 2001, 2003 and 2005.

- Providing Support for Children who have witnessed Domestic Violence - A summary of practice recommendations arising from recent initiatives and publications written by leading domestic abuse researcher Professor Audrey Mullender.

- Fallen through the net - Margaret McGlade, Association of Directors of Social Services lead on domestic violence, is concerned that the needs of children experiencing domestic violence seem to have 'fallen through the net' of the government's two recent initiatives, 'Safety and Justice' and 'Every Child Matters'

- RESPECT provides new phone line for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PERPETRATORS, offering information and helpline support for those who want to stop abusing. They will also take calls from family, friends or professionals who want to support men to change. More information on this welcome Home Office funded service here:
