The School Energy Awareness Programme (SEAP) is delivered by Energy Projects Plus for the Council and offers free talks to schools throughout Cheshire. The programme was first started four years ago and has been running successfully since then, providing support to schools in their environmental work, giving talks on energy efficiency and renewables and running workshops. The most popular mode of delivery is Watt Watchers, a 45-60 minute long presentation which links in with key issues covered in Science and Geography at Key Stage 2. Activities through SEAP may also help your school in achieving its Eco Schools status.
If you are interested in SEAP and would like to book a session or discuss the options available to your school please get in touch with Sarah Tribe, the Education Officer at Energy Projects Plus on 0151 638 8257 or email sarah.tribe@epplus.org.uk.
