Join Cheshire Libraries as we take part in National Year of Reading 2008 with an exciting programme of monthly themed events and opportunities. 2,435 new members joined Cheshire Libraries in June! Not a member yet? Join at your local library or online.	Reading in Unusual Places Photographic Competition! To celebrate the National Year of Reading, Cheshire Libraries would like to invite you to enter a photographic competition. The theme of the competition is Reading in Unusual Places and we would welcome photographs of people reading books in a variety of places.
Who do you think you are? Visit any Cheshire Library and you can access Ancestry.com Library Edition, a genealogical database with more than 5 billion names in over 4,000 collections. Book a PC in advance (free for one hour, each day) by contacting your local library. Note: this site is only available on PCs in your local library. Library staff cannot undertake any Internet searches or other work on your behalf. Joining the library opens up a vast world of knowledge, entertainment, culture and information. Once you become a member you may borrow up to 20 items. This may be up to 20 books or 8 multimedia items, except computer software, console games and DVD box sets where the maximum is 2 items.
