Bullying Survey 2004 phase 2 (1,300kb)
Bullying has become a key issue for public policy in recent decades. The main aims of the project were to research and explore the issues of bullying in a number of Cheshire’s Primary and Secondary schools and observe the effects of the transition from Primary to Secondary school.
This involved exploring children’s/young people’s experience of bullying, how they have responded and how they can get involved in developing good practice anti-bullying strategies within their school communities.
The Local Authority Research and Intelligence Authority Excellence in Research Award Scheme was launched in 2002 to identify and celebrate good practice in research and to share that best practice with other researchers. In evaluating the research judges considered innovation, impact on policy and practice and appropriateness of methodology. |
