'Staff very friendly, cooperative, helpful and reassuring'. Mr S. from Macclesfield.
If you wish to become a British citizen, Cheshire's Registration Service can help you.
Please note that changes to the way people will become British citizens currently under discussion, which will involve earned (or active) citizenship, will not be introduced until the late 2010. Until then existing arrangements for naturalisation will continue."
Why use this service?
Incorrectly submitted citizenship applications are returned by the Home Office which delays the application process so, for a small fee, specially trained staff can check your application form and documents before they are sent to the Home Office.
We can also check, copy and certify your documentation, enabling you to keep your original documentation, such as your passport.
Where can I get further information?
Information about fees can be obtained from our fees webpages.
