What is a Renewal of Vows Ceremony?

This ceremony is for couples who wish to renew their vows to each other. The ceremony can present the perfect opportunity for couples to re-affirm their love and commitment for each other at any stage in their life but can also coincide with occasions, such as, a significant life event or an anniversary.  The ceremony is also
a way for family and friends to be included in celebrating your return after marrying overseas. 

Can we personalise our ceremony?

Our Renewal of Vows Ceremony can be created to include music, poetry or readings which you have found or written yourself.  Family and friends and be included along with the giving of gifts.  Whatever your wishes may be, we can create a personal ceremony which reflects your style and sentiments.

Where can a ceremony take place?

The ceremony may take place at any of the following types of venues:

When can a ceremony take place?

Ceremonies can take place any day, including some bank holidays between 8.00am and 5.30pm. Register Offices are the only exception as they are not open on Sundays.

How do I make a booking?

Decide where you would like your ceremony to take place and make a provisional booking, if required.

Contact your local Register Office to check the availability of a celebrant. Please let us know the date, time and venue where you would like the ceremony to take place.

A confirmation letter will be sent to you and includes details about a deposit and fees payable.

We will contact you to arrange a time for you to visit the Register Office to create your ceremony and discuss the ceremony arrangements.
If required, a celebrant may also need to arrange to visit the ceremony location.
