Out Of Hours Emergencies

| County Council staff are on call outside of normal office hours (Mon to Fri 5.00pm - 9.00am and Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays) to respond to serious highway related problems and emergencies. Such problems can be reported by calling 0845 002 0666.
If you do call to report a serious problem, please supply as much information as you can as this will assist our staff in finding and dealing with the issue swiftly and efficiently. Details such as road names, numbers of adjacent properties, distances from junctions, notable land-marks or buildings can also help to assist us in finding the problem. It is also helpful if you can leave contact details as it may be that our staff need to call you to discuss the problem in further detail or find out some more information.
Not all highway defects and problems require immediate action, so before calling please take a moment to consider if your call is really urgent. Remember, you can always report a highway defect by logging onto the highway fault reporting page. |
