Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) -
was established in November 1996 at the request of contractors to represent the interests of civil engineering contractors registered in the UK as well as to provide a full range of services to members. They promote the positive contribution that the civil engineering industry makes to the nation, the industry is an integral part of the economy and provides the necessary transport and other infrastructure necessary for civilised life.
Constructing Excellence -
aims to achieve a change in construction productivity by tackling the market failures in the sector and selling the business case for continuous improvement, through focused programmes in Innovation, Best Practise Knowledge, Productivity and Engagement. Constructing Excellence has developed a strategy to deliver the process, product and cultural changes that are needed to drive major productivity improvements in the sector.
Engineering Project Management Forum (EPMF) -
is an Inter Institutional Committee which promotes effective project management, mainly by organising events around the United Kingdom. Their aim is to develop and promote the practise of Professional Project Management of all engineering disciplines, so as to enable and enhance the application and excellence of engineering skills.
Local Government Task Force (LGTF) -
works as a lobby group for the Local Government community with various Government departments, allied agencies and indeed the Construction Industry. It actively encourages and assists Local Authorities to adopt the principles of Constructing Excellence.
