Roadworks
Please note that if further information (including diversion routes) about the roadworks listed below is available on our roadworks webpage, a link will be provided to it.
Roadworks associated with Developers work:
- A5268 Nicholas Street/A483 Grosvenor Road - ducting and tactile paving required in area adjacent to new development at the former Police Headquarters. Evening work with lane restrictions. No date confirmed as yet.
- A5268/Lower Watergate Street (Linen Hall) - Pedestrian access required for new development. No date confirmed as yet.
- A5268/St Martins Way/Sens Close/Princess Street - New traffic signals required.
- Northgate Roundabout to George Street/Canal Street junction - junction improvements, ongoing.
- Fountains Roundabout - footway works only. No date confirmed as yet.
- Delamere Street/George Street - realignment work to be carried out, possible start Winter 2009.
- Oulton Place/Victoria Road - kerb realignment. No date confirmed as yet.
- St Johns Street (near Off The Wall public house) - footway works, no date confirmed as yet.
- City Road/Russell Street (former Royalty Theatre) - footway works and kerb realignment, no date confirmed as yet.
- Bridge Gate (Lower Bridge Street) - cycle/footway works, no date confirmed as yet.
- Black Diamond Street/St Anne's Street - road widening, no date confirmed as yet.
- Tower Wharf/Upper Cambrian Road, Chester - no date confirmed as yet.

Hoole Road Bridge reopened after a extensive refurbishment scheme in April 2008.
