Assessments

Sub-heading

What is an assessment?

An assessment is held when either you or someone else acting for you has asked Social Services for help with some difficulty you are having. Before Social Services can help we need to know more about your situation. We will talk with you about what we find out and agree what might be done.

What does the assessment do?

The assessment is how we find out what help and support you and your family (if you are a child) need and who is best to give that help.
