Whenever you contact Social Services, you are entitled to a high standard of treatment.
Individual attention
You can expect:
- your views to be listened to and taken into account
- to be told the reasons for decisions which affect you; and
- to have any problems or complaints dealt with in a simple, honest and straightforward manner.
Clear information
We will:
- provide details of our services and how to make contact;
- provide explanations in plain language; and
- whenever possible provide a named contact.
Prompt service
We will:
- give an immediate response whenever we can;
- respond to your enquiries within five working days of receipt; and
- tell you how your enquiry will be handled, and how long it will take if the answer is not possible within five working days.
